Python 3.0

Wow, I’ve really been out of the loop. My favorite language, Python, is now up to release 3.0. From the release notes: “Python 3.0 (a.k.a. "Python 3000" or "Py3k") is a new version of the language that is incompatible with the 2.x line of releases.”

Tag cloud widget

Just playing with a cute Flash-based tag cloud widget that pulls in the Typepad categories. Wonder if they’ll have a Technorati one, since I rely on those tags more.

About due for a style change

I’ve had this manually-hacked blog design pretty much since I started in 2003 (yikes). Well, it’s about time for a design change. Since Typepad has improved their design tools, it seems like a good time to do it.

Not right this moment, though. Work is nuts, and I’m going back to Boston for Christmas break. Let’s call it a New Year’s resolution, then.

Tumblr

So, I’ve gotten lazy and started a Tumblr blog. It’s a quick way of posting random studd stuff [damn you Dvorak] I find on the net.
